We specialize in placing Human Resource professionals.

We are searching the Human Resources Manager m/f for the Affiliate of a Leading Global Finance Company

Reporting to the Regional Human Resources Director Europe you will be responsible for the daily operational efficiency and effectiveness of the HR department. You will consult, support and give recommendations to all business units relating to HR matters and deliver exceptional service to our internal and external clients. You will manage and assume overall responsibility for recruitment, selection, Performance Management (appraisal process), staff development and training as well as understanding and implementing appropriate Labour legislation and good practice.

HR Operations

  • Review operational/process efficiency and effectiveness of local HR department regularly
  • Act as Advisor for all areas of the business in relation to HR matters, serve as the go to person on all employment related matters
  • Provide employee counselling and encourage staff dialogue
  • Ensure smooth administration of benefits provision and payroll
  • Lead proactively and independently to engage with leaders supporting them on requirements for Staffing, Performance Management and Development

HR Policies & Procedures

  • Ensure all HR Policies & Procedures are updated and documented and audit ready at all times
  • Communicate guidelines and practice to employees on HR Policies, guidelines and procedures if needed
  • Support organizational changes

Compensation & Benefits

  • Stay ahead of year-end activities such as performance appraisal and pay review process by anticipating issues and discussing them with relevant parties. Issues may include market dynamics, employees’ concerns and pay competitiveness
  • Partner and work with our Global Total Rewards Team to manage compensation & benefits issues

Organization Effectiveness & Engagement

  • Partner and work with our Organizational Effectiveness Team to help identifying learning and development needs
  • Ensure local support for learning initiatives and needs
  • Work with the business leaders to explore ways to maintain and enhance employee engagement and collaboration on an on-going basis

Other

  • Manage country HR budget and expenditure
  • Get involved in global HR initiatives/projects by providing local perspectives
  • Support Business Continuity Plan – be part of the local Emergency Management

Team

  • Support occupational health and rehabilitation management
  • Attend Management and Supervisor meetings
  • Interact effectively with all HR team members Europe and HR Business Partners
  • Operate effectively across borders and help to enhance communication in our Global HR team
  • Partner and work with the Global Mobility team and HR Business Partners (BP) on movements into and out of the country, ensure all aspects of IA including localization prospects are attended to on an on-going basis

Knowledge, education, and experience:

  • Academic degree and / or bank or industry apprenticeship
  • Years of experience required for the position 8+ years in Human Resources
  • Ideally 3+ years in a managerial role
  • Experience in business partnering and generalist HR operations

Additional desirable qualifications:

  • Mutual Fund / Financial Services experience

  • Supervise two HR staff members

Travel requirements:

  • Infrequent travel to other European sites based on current work needs
